Metro is growing, and we're hiring Bus Operators who enjoy working with people, driving locally, and making a real difference every day. Why you'll love this role : $29.30/hour starting pay. No CDL yet? You can still apply! Visit your local DMV to take the CDL permit test Request Passenger (P) and Air Brake endorsements Candidates with permits may be considered for paid CDL training
CDL License and Permit Eligibility Requirements:
Work authorization requirement : Must be a U.S. citizen, green card holder, or qualifying visa holder (H-2A, H-2B, or E2) Other statuses (e.g. EAD-only, DACA, TPS, asylum pending) are not eligible after March 16, 2026.
License and documentation requirements:
Non-domiciled applicants must remove "Non-Domicile" status from their license (if applicable) and provide valid, unexpired immigration documents (passport, I-94, and visa) to qualify for CDL/CLP.
