Job Description
Thumb Area Transit is a leading rural public transportation provider located in Huron County, MI. We are seeking individuals that enjoy driving and are looking to make a difference in their community by providing mobility and independence to individuals in need of transportation. CDL training provided on site. Bus Operators can expect to make $36k-$50k per year. Starting hourly wage $17.50 with raises within the first year. Excellent benefit package available for full-time employment including: paid time off, health, optical, dental, and life insurance. $500 Flexible Spending Accounts, up to 6% retirement match, and eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Applicants must meet the standards of a physical examination and drug test to comply with the rules and regulations of the Michigan Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration.
