We are seeking a skilled and reliable full-time route Bus Driver to join our team at the Bus Garage. This is a full-time position that requires the driver to drive an AM and PM route. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and experience driving a school bus. Guaranteed 30 hours per week, with up to 40 hours possible.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students on an assigned route or a route as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Communicate with school officials to ensure timely arrival and departure from routes
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
• Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle as assigned for the bus maintenance schedule.

Requirements:

• Valid Class B CDL driver's license with P, S and air brake endorsements (GACS will train and pay for CDL)
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past three years Ability to operate a large vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Ability to develop and maintain positive rapport with students and staff.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test

Full Time Route Driver:

$20.57/hr + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, Retirement)
