Qualifications:
Pursuant with State of Michigan Student Safety Legislation, all prospective hires must provide fingerprinting and background check results to the District prior to employment. CDL licensing, drug/alcohol testing, physical examination, school bus driver certification classes.
Essential Duties :
The employee shall serve under the direct supervision of the Transportation Coordinator and shall be responsible for the following: Pick up and drop off passengers as designate locations Follow a planned route or drive to a requested destination Obey traffic laws and state and federal transit regulations Follow procedures to ensure passenger safety Help passengers, including those with disabilities, get into and out of the vehicle Keep transportation director informed of possible delays Perform other related duties as assigned.
