Part-time Bus Driver

WHAT MAKES A GREAT BUS DRIVER?

With more than 100 years of providing excellent customer service in the transportation industry, we have a good idea of what makes a great bus driver.

Our ideal candidate will:

Be passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Have a CDL (A or B) with passenger and air brake endorsements and an excellent driving record or be able to obtain a CDL B with passenger and air brake endorsements. Be able to obtain an enhanced license or passport for traveling outside the U.S. Be able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and alcohol test. Be able to pass a criminal background check with no drug or alcohol convictions. Enjoy traveling, seeing new sites, and meeting new people. Adapt well to an ever-changing industry. Enjoy working with people while treating them in a courteous and professional manner at all times. Be flexible with change and able to adapt to sudden schedule changes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

At least 24 years of age. High school diploma equivalent (GED). Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain a CDL. Consistent employment history. Clean criminal record (no felonies). Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam, including drug and alcohol screenings. Availability to work a variable schedule (including nights and weekends). Ability to lift or manipulate baggage and cargo up to 75 pounds. Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate well with customers and fellow employees.

Criminal background check. National Sex Offender Registry check. Motor Vehicle Registry check. Department of Transportation physical exam. Verification of employment history. Drug and alcohol screening. Pay range is $18-$24.00
