Vehicles are driven within the tri-county area. Hourly rate (with Chauffer license): $18.50, (with CDL) $21.50. Please note that the Substitute Bus Driver position does not have a regular schedule, but assists as needed. Position Responsibilities Transport City residents over the age of 55, and individuals with disabilities, in SMART buses, mini-bus or vans. Assist disabled passengers by using the correct safety procedures to operate, lift, and secure wheelchairs and other assistive devices Drivers will also assist in shuttle driving for special events. Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidates must possess a valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver's License (Group C) with a "P" designation or a Chauffeur License from the State of Michigan Must have an excellent driving record Position will remain open until filled.
