motor coach operators in the Durham area. Candidate must have a clean CDL. Be at least 25 years of age Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsement, and no restrictions other than corrective lenses. Good driving record. No more than 2 moving violations within the past12 months, no more than 4 moving violations within the past 3 years, no more than 1 minor accident within the past 3 years. No major accidents, reckless driving convictions, DUI or DWI. No revocations or suspensions within the past 5 years. Stable work record . In accordance with federal regulations, the past 10years verifiable employment history must be shown on the application. Have the ability to pass a DOT pre-employment physical and drug screening. Have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Have the ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time at any time of day or night and in any type of weather. Have the ability to secure proper rest before driving. This may mean being able to rest during the day to drive all night. Have the ability to read maps and plan routes. Have the ability to interact and cooperate with groups of varying ages. Have the ability to remain calm in stressful or tense situations. Have the ability to exercise sound judgment without supervision. Have the ability to complete required paperwork legibly and timely. Have the ability to learn and practice safe driving habits. Have the ability to cooperate with other drivers on multi-bus moves. Must have a working cellular phone. Have the ability to learn quickly and retain information.
