Pay Grade:
54 ($2,734.00 - $3,086.00 per month). "Must" complete a Generic Bus Driver Application. Driving a school bus is an essential function of this job. "Must" be able to provide an Official Seal Transcript showing at least 48 semester hours from a Community College or a Four Year University. General Statement of Job:
The Technology Facilitator reports to the Principal of the school. The facilitator is to monitor students taking online classes and to ensure they are following the day-to-day activity schedule dictated by each class. Facilitators are to communicate with each instructor and school about the progress of students and the program. The facilitator is expected to assist with technology support for the school when needed.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Enroll/register students into the colleges and courses they want to take Present progress reports for each student for each class they are in Receive grades and process them for each nine weeks Help each student to become familiar with the online courses and how to operate them Communicate with the administration staff and faculty about students and the program itself through emails, phone calls, and faxes Communicate with parents about the student's behavior, progress, and performance Provide technical support for students each period if a problem arises Contact proper person(s) to fix equipment or download programs that are needed for online courses Assist students in submitting assignment to their instructors
Additional Job Functions or Assigned Tasks:
Help students learn the Blackboard system or Moodle system for online classes Assist with Technical support for EOC online testing
Minimum Training and Experience:
A minimum of a 48 semester hours of community college or university credits Knowledge of computers Minimum Qualifications or Standards Required to
Perform Essential Job Functions:
Ability to move monitor and CPU units Ability to walk around to monitor each room where students work
Other Requirements:
Maintain an acceptable attendance record and be punctual
