This role plays a key part in supporting daily routes, school activities, and overall facility operations. Job Description Our client is seeking a Bus Driver to transport students and staff safely to and from routes, field trips, and extracurricular activities. When not driving, this role supports maintenance and transportation operations, including assisting with bus upkeep and school equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and enjoys working in a school environment. Key Responsibilities Transportation & Safety Safely transport students and staff for daily routes and school activities Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bus interior Maintenance & Support Assist with routine bus maintenance and inspections Help maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance tasks Inspect playground equipment and support general school maintenance needs Operations & Communication Communicate effectively using radio systems with transportation staff Follow schedules and adapt to changing transportation needs Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Valid CDL with bus endorsement (training provided if needed) Ability to pass required driving demonstration and physical exam Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment and tools Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work flexible hours Perks CDL training provided by the school district Stable, year-round (12-month) position Excellent benefits including fully paid health insurance Opportunity to support students and the local community Ready to Apply?
