Bus Driver:
As a Bus Driver you'll be responsible for operating small buses, (less than 16 passengers), in the provision of transportation services to passengers with regard to their safety, confidence and comfort. Must obey all applicable local, State and Federal laws and regulations.
Your day will involve:
Operating vehicles maintaining high safety standards and passenger confidence. Following established routes and schedules in a timely manner. Being responsible for accurate communication pertaining to changes in passenger itinerary. Recording and reporting transportation data, as required. Maintaining proper vehicle appearance and cleanliness, inside and out including possessing sensitivity to vehicle performance and limitations. Follow established policies and procedures and comply with all safety requirements. Assists passengers with disabilities. Your role will directly contribute to a positive participant experience, while helping to provide a convenient and safe transportation service to our community!

Be Bus Driver:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalency credential.
Experience:
At least 1 year of bus driving experience, including transporting passengers.
Skills:
Complete driver training courses within required timeframe and have obtained a Certificate of Completion. (Defensive Driving, Passenger Assistance and Emergency Evacuation).
Characteristics:
Ability to be polite and courteous at all times in dealing with passengers and negotiating traffic.
Technical:
Valid driver's license and Valid NHDOT medical card required. Must pass Agency Drug & Alcohol pre-employment testing to be qualified. Required to participate in random drug and alcohol testing as established by Agency Drug & Alcohol policies for safety sensitive employees. Must successfully complete criminal record and driver record checks. Access to reliable transportation is required, as some travel within the community will be necessary. Ready to Apply?
