About the Role The Summit Area YMCA is looking for a dependable, safety-minded, and kid-friendly School Bus Driver to transport children in our child care and camp programs between schools, YMCA locations, and activity sites. This role plays an essential part in creating a safe, welcoming, and fun experience for our youth participants. If you're interested in more hours, this role may be upgraded to Full-Time by working in another department during non-driving hours—perfect for those with skills in childcare, membership services, aquatics, maintenance, or other YMCA departments. You Might Be the Right Candidate if you: Have prior experience driving a school bus Enjoy working with children and have a friendly, approachable personality Hold a valid NJ Commercial Driver's License with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements (or are willing and able to obtain them) Communicate effectively and work well with people from diverse backgrounds Bring a big smile and a commitment to safety every single day

Salary & Benefits:

The salary range for his role is $25

• $35 /hour, based on experience. This Part Time Bus Driver position is scheduled to work up to 25 hours per week. The current Bus Driver hours are Monday
• Friday 7:00am
• 9:00am, 11
• 12:00pm and 2:00pm
• 4:00pm.

There is an opportunity to work an additional hours each week in another department making this a full time role with benefits. Requirements:

A current NJ Commercial Driver's License with School Bus and Passenger endorsements. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to relate well to children and adults. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. About the
