Position Overview The CDL Driver position is a 110-month, full-time or part -time role supporting school transportation services. Drivers should be available for Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM-11:00 AM and 2:00PM-4:30 PM routes. This position is ideal for drivers seeking a predictable weekday schedule and meaningful work transporting students safely. Essential Job Duties Safely operate school transportation vehicles Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Assist students with safe loading and unloading Follow all safety procedures, district policies, and DOT regulations Maintain a professional, calm, and student-focused approach at all times Job Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Valid New Jersey CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements Good verbal communication skills Availability for early morning routes Fingerprinting and background check Drug screening DOT physical Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Ability to assist students as needed during boarding and exiting How to Apply Apply through Indeed.
