Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible School Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while providing reliable transportation services. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to manage behavior effectively in various settings, including school environments. Duties Safely operate a bus or van, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Transport passengers to designated locations, ensuring timely arrivals. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle environment for passengers. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes. Manage passenger behavior during transit, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere. Assist passengers as needed, including children requiring special attention. Maintain accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during transport. Experience Proven experience inSchool bus driving or van driving is preferred. Experience with behavior management in childcare settings is a plus. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate S & P endorsements is required. Previous experience in school bus driving is advantageous but not mandatory.
