Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and punctuality. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting kids safely and efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor. Duties Safely operate buses and other vehicles to transport passengers to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service. Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during trips. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide assistance for paratransit services as needed, ensuring accessibility for all passengers. Handle minor mechanical issues or maintenance tasks as required. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving. A&P Endorsement Proven experience in bus driving or similar roles such as delivery driver or shuttle driving. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles. Experience with paratransit services is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Previous experience in customer service roles is highly valued. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage unexpected situations safely. A commitment to upholding safety standards at all times.
