Safety Driver (Bus Driver)

We are looking for a bus driver to act as a safety driver for our automated bus. You'll use your driving skills and experience to operate and monitor our automated full-size bus during on-road tests, primarily on public roads, and be ready to respond quickly and effectively to guarantee safety. You will be located at the Buffalo, NY. You will be working 40 hours and 5 days a week To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Responsibilities Ensuring safe testing of automated bus at all times Working in cooperation with Adastec engineers and follow the required instructions Driving the bus manually when needed Ensuring the bus seats are clean and comfortable for all riders Making sure that required services to maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the bus Skills Minimum 21 years of age Having a good stable work record Having a safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment). Being able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements Drivers must have a chauffeur's license and a State of Michigan Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with A, B, or C group designation, (P) passenger endorsement. (CDL w Passenger Endorsement) A polite and professional disposition Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
