Duties:

Operate a school bus and perform saftey checks in a connection with such operations. Considerable responsibility for the safety of passengers carried on regularly scheduled trips; maintain a clean bus; attend meetings and classes as requirred; provide students with training; and perform related work as required. Good knowledge of the operation of a bus; good knowledge of safety practices; traffic laws and regulations; ability to follow detailed oral and written directions; ability to relate with the public in a positive manner and handle sensitive human problems; dependability; good judgement; and physical condition to commensurate with the demands of the position. Must possess a valid Class A or B License with Passenger (P) School Bus (S) endorsements. Must be 21 years of age or older Must complete training requirements specified by NYSED pursuant to 8NYCRR Education Part 156. Paid Training Provided to acquire license requirements.
