Job Description

Job Summary:
The School Bus Driver position requires good knowledge of driving safety practices and traffic laws and regulations; ability to operate a bus under difficult driving and road conditions; ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions; ability to get along well with children and achieve their respect; mental alertness; dependability and physical condition commensurate with the demands of the job. Applicants must be eligible for the appropriate level of NYS Driver License; be at least 21 years of age and satisfy the requirements for School Bus Driver under NYS Department of Education Regulations. NCSD will assist qualified applicants in obtaining the necessary training to become a School Bus Driver.
