Job Overview The Riverhead Town Senior Center is seeking a dedicated and energetic Minibus Driver to join our team, responsible for safely transporting passengers to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. Duties Operates a passenger van with a valid Commercial Driver License in no more than 15 passenger bus with regards to the Town's nutrition program and/or the dial-a-ride program, picking up and discharging senior citizen passengers; Performs safety checks on assigned vehicle to determine proper functioning of lights, brakes, heat controls, tires and general running condition; Detects and prepares written reports of maintenance and repair needs of assigned bus; Answers questions regarding senior programs and maintains good relations with passengers; Maintains order on bus and an atmosphere conducive to safe transportation of passengers; Loads, transports, and delivers meals to homebound citizens; May take temperature of meals to determine suitability for delivery; Collects money from clients and keeps appropriate records; Transports supplies, equipment and interoffice mail as needed; Performs any other duties as assigned by the Town Supervisor and or their designee.

Minimum Qualifications:
