Bus Driver Sauquoit Valley Central School District is in search of a bus driver for their transportation department. Role Expectations and Responsibilities Safely transport students along designated routes to and from school, as well as on field trips and extracurricular activities. Maintain a welcoming, supportive, and orderly environment on the vehicle to ensure the well-being of all passengers. Communicate effectively and collaboratively with school personnel, families, and department colleagues regarding schedules and student needs. Preferred Qualifications A Class B Commercial Driver's License is preferred. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong interpersonal communication skills. A commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for students. Working Conditions This role involves operating large vehicles in various weather conditions and traffic environments. Duties require sitting for extended periods, conducting routine physical inspections of the vehicle, and assisting passengers as needed.
