School Bus Driver

Orange County Transit LLC is seeking to hire fully licensed BPS or CPS drivers for the 2025-2026 School Year! Full-Time, Part-Time, Route Drivers, Per Diem Drivers, Trips and Charter Drivers. We offer very flexible schedules, you can either work a 3 day week or a 5 day week! Experienced School Bus Drivers can earn up to $31.00 per hour for a Big Bus and $29.00 an hour for Small Bus in our Wappingers Falls location! We offer a minimum of 30 hours per week, 6-hour guarantee daily.

Job Requirements:

CDL Class B or C License with "P" and "S" endorsements and airbrakes At least 23 years or older Minimum of 1-2 years of school bus driving experience preferred. Ability to pass DOT physical and DOT drug screening. Must have a clean driving history.

Training Program:

No Experience... No Problem. We offer free classes to help you obtain your CDL permit. Once you obtain your CDL permit we will train you behind the wheel to become a School Bus Driver! Must be willing to commit to employment for 10 months with the company.
