YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a School Bus Driver, you will: Safely operate a school bus or passenger vehicle while transporting students Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Follow all applicable Ohio school transportation safety requirements Follow assigned routes and schedules Assist students safely when boarding and exiting the vehicle Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly bus environment Enforce established passenger safety rules Communicate professionally with parents, school personnel, dispatch, and management Maintain accurate route, passenger, and incident records Report mechanical, safety, or student-related concerns promptly Provide dependable and courteous service every day
QUALIFICATIONS
Experienced Driver — Ready to
Drive:
Valid CDL Class B Passenger (P) endorsement School Bus (S) endorsement Air Brake qualification Previous school bus driving experience preferred/required for experienced-driver placement Two or more years of CDL Class B passenger-driving experience preferred Clean, responsible driving history Ability to successfully complete required background checks, drug screening, physical and other employment requirements Need Training? Don't have your School Bus endorsement yet? Don't automatically count yourself out. We are willing to consider candidates who have the appropriate CDL qualifications and are motivated to complete the required training and endorsements.
