Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations, adhering to schedules, and ensuring the comfort and safety of all passengers. Training will be provided for those with no school bus driving experience.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a bus or van to transport passengers
• Adhere to predetermined routes and schedules
• Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during transit
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
• Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and transportation staff
• Provide excellent customer service to all passengers

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. CDL class B with passenger and school bus endorsement preferred.
• Previous experience as a Bus Driver, Van Driver, School Bus Driver, or in a similar role preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills are a plus
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and mechanical operations
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable
• Familiarity with paratransit services is advantageous
