Today Job Description This position is not a route specialist, it is an assigned, regular bus route 5.75 Hours per school day Monday-Friday 187 Work Days Minimum pay $27.03/hour Calendar and AM/PM driving schedule will be provided Must possess or be physically qualified and capable of passing certain training requirements in order to secure a valid commercial driver license to drive a school bus Must have the ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff, parents and community members Must be able to take care of own bus/van to insure safety and welfare of passengers being transported Preference given to candidates who can demonstrate an excellent driving record Must have full support of the Coordinator of Transportation Services and Assistant Superintendent The Board of Education does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including sexual orientation and transgender identity), disability, age, religion, military status ancestry, genetic information (collectively, "Protected Classes"), or any other legally protected category, in its programs and activities, including employment opportunities.
