Position Summary:

Grace Learning Center's Bus Driver will ensure the safe transportation of students in the GLC bus. This includes transportation to and from the students' school, field trips, and other destinations as scheduled.

Essential Functions:

The Bus Driver of Grace Learning Center will: Ensure bus is clean and equipped for student transportation. Practice all legal requirements outlined for student transportation. Report delays, accidents, or other transportation issues to other GLC bus drivers. Write and submit reports that include data such as the number of students, hours worked, mileage, fuel consumption, etc. Assist students with psychological, emotional, or behavioral situations while on the bus. • Monitor and encourage students to maintain discipline and safety. Evacuate students from the school bus in emergency situations.

By spending regular daily time in the study of God's Word and prayer. By responding to the ministry of the Holy Spirit within. Always be available to be used by the Holy Spirit for the spiritual edification of students, parents, and those with whom he/she serves. By faithful attendance in a local church. By giving a good report (Matt. 18: 15-20). By exemplifying the proper Biblical role of a Godly family member (Eph. 4:1-6). By maintaining the unity of the body of believers, being sensitive to the diversity of the body of Christ.

Position Qualifications:

To successfully perform the requirements of the Grace Learning Center Bus Driver, one must: Posses a current, state driver's license. Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Complete required trainings within deadlines for continued employment. Complete and Submit Contracted Driver Qualification for Childcare form through Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services Position Qualification.
