• Job Summary
• We are seeking a reliable School Bus Driver to transport passengers on activity sports trips for the Mountain View School District.

Trips may not be everyday but instead several days a week. Most trips take place in the Northeast Pennsylvania area between 1:00pm and 9:00pm in the evenings (times and distances of trips may vary). This is not a daily school bus route; only activity sports trips. The ideal candidate will have experience in school bus driving and interacting with coaches, teachers and students.

• Duties
• Safely operate a bus on activity trips
• Ensure the safety of passengers during transit
• Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the bus
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
• Qualifications
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Atleast a CDL Class B license with S (School) & P(Passenger) endorsements and ability to drive a vehicle with air brakes.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and as well as random drug selections. Must have a clear driving history, clear criminal background, mandated reporter training certified and have FBI fingerprint registration complete. Previous experience in school bus driving is preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively with passengers
• Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance checks.
