Responsibilities Safely operate school buses, shuttle vehicles, and vehicles in accordance with state transportation laws. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking air brakes, mechanical systems, and overall vehicle condition. Proven experience in bus driving, including motor coach, school bus driving, shuttle driving or delivery driver roles. Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and state transportation rules governing commercial driving. Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions safely and confidently. Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Demonstrated defensive driving skills with a focus on safety at all times. Customer service orientation with the ability to handle diverse passenger needs professionally.
