In this role, you will safely transport students from school to the NBCC campus, ensuring their safety, comfort, and enjoyment throughout the journey. Your dedication to transportation safety and excellent customer service will help create a fun and secure environment for young learners after school hours. Would need to be available from approximately 1:30-4:00, weekdays. Responsibilities Safely operate a school buses, following all traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations. Transport children to and from camp locations, adhering to scheduled routes and timing requirements. Maintain a vigilant eye on passenger safety. Respond promptly to traffic changes or emergencies using defensive driving techniques and emergency response procedures for transportation. Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting mechanical issues or safety concerns to maintenance teams. Communicate clearly with staff, parents, and emergency responders as needed to ensure smooth operations and safety. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for school bus or transit vehicle operation. Proven experience in bus driving, school bus driving, or transit bus operation.
