Part-Time Transit Operator with SDRS Benefits City of Mitchell Job Description
The City of Mitchell is accepting applications for part-time bus operators for the Palace Transit Service. Applicants must be 21 or older. Starting wage is $22.697 per hour.; this position is up to 30 hours per week and is eligible for SDRS Applicants should have, or be able to obtain a CDL (commercial driver's license) with a passenger endorsement -- assistance will be provided if help is needed to obtain this certification. Bus Operators transport passengers within City Limits, complete required paperwork and reports, adhere to all traffic laws, follow routes by operating a computerized routing system in the vehicle, keep the bus fueled and clean, and provide friendly and effective customer service. Flexible scheduling available. Starting wage is $22.697 per hour. This position is up to 30 hours per week with SDRS benefits. Applicants should have, or be able to obtain a CDL (commercial driver's license) with a passenger endorsement -- assistance will be provided if help is needed to obtain this certification.
