Special Information:
Night and weekend work required.
Salary:
$24.00 per hour
Minimum Required Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Prefer:
Associate's Degree Minimum Required Experience:
Two or more years in transportation services. CDL License with passenger endorsement. Two or more years of vehicle maintenance. Clear driving record..
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinates and drives a Hill College vehicle to all off-campus trips. Checks to ensure maintenance and safety of all college vehicles being used for transportation purposes. Reports any maintenance or safety problems to the Facilities Coordinator. Also responsible for the transportation of coaches and student-athletes to and from athletic events.

Ability to embrace and manage diversity. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information. Ability to operate all small or large transportation vehicles. Ability to work efficiently in poor weather. Demonstrated customer service skills. Demonstrated organization skills. Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Demonstrated responsibility in all aspects of the job. Working knowledge of the Hill College vision and mission. Ability to articulate and support the values and Code of Conduct of Hill College. Ability to interpret and abide by the policies and procedures of Hill College. Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Physical Requirements:
Medium work; Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Must have the physical dexterity required to operate a transportation vehicle including buses, cars, and vans. Light bending, stooping, kneeling, or carrying.
