In this vital role, you will operate various types of vehicles—including school buses, transit buses, and paratransit vehicles—ensuring passengers are transported securely and comfortably. Your dedication to adhering to traffic laws, safety regulations, and customer service excellence will make a positive impact on our community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to safe and efficient transportation services for diverse populations, including children, seniors, and individuals with mobility needs. Duties Safely operate construction trucks Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger transport (e.g., P endorsement for passenger vehicles). Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, transportation safety regulations, and state/local commercial driving laws. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling equipment safely. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities. Excellent behavior management skills combined with writing skills for completing reports accurately when needed.
