Job Description

Job Overview Traxx America Inc is looking for professional, customer-focused CDL drivers to join our team as School Bus drivers transporting students to and from school for a Charter School in the Seattle Area. Description This position will play a key role in ensuring the safe transport of children daily to and from school. This position is Monday through Friday, split shift position with a 4 hour per shift guarantee. In the school off season drivers can still work for the company transporting cruise ship passengers or other driving work should they choose to do so. This would require drivers be able to lift at least 50 lbs of luggage. Drivers represent the face of the company and help ensure every ride is smooth, timely, and memorable. Key Responsibilities Meet and comply with all company, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements Provide excellent service to transport students to and from school Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage (as needed) Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance needs Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations staff Follow assigned schedules and maintain timely arrivals and departures Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times Qualifications Must have at least a Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement (Required) Must have a School bus endorsment Must have at least 2-3 years CDL passenger driving experience (Required) Must be over 22 years of age Clean driving record and current DOT medical card Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Team Player who is reliable, honest, and able to work independently, exercising sound judgement
