We embrace the Ignatian ideals that God may be found in all things, that each person is sacred and that we are created to serve others in community. Purpose:
The Bus Driver is responsible for transporting students from various meeting points to school in the mornings, and to afternoon events and sports practices and contests. This position is part-time with 20 hours per week guaranteed. This role is eligible for school benefits (see below).
Minimum qualifications:
A High School Diploma and a minimum of two years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a School Bus endorsement (S) is required for all drivers, OR a willingness to obtain one. Seattle Prep will pay for your CDL! All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Prep's mission and values, especially as it relates to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging Supportive of the mission of a Catholic, Jesuit high school and formation of the whole person All employees must complete a criminal history background check and safe environment training upon hire and every 3 years
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate of $38.50 with 20 hours per week guaranteed. $10,050 annual benefits allowance to use toward medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and a flexible spending account. Take the cash instead. If you don't enroll in school-sponsored insurance, you can receive the benefits allowance as supplemental pay. Save for retirement with employer contributions. The school contributes 2.5% of your salary to your 403(b) retirement plan and matches an additional 2.5% of your contributions.
