Courier Driver - Independent ContractorAbout Us Welcome to SGI Logistics! Locally owned and operating right here in Alabama. We're a trusted logistics partner offering courier solutions, warehousing, and final mile distribution, and we're growing our team of independent contract drivers across a range of vehicle types to serve Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. Vehicle Types We Partner With Cars SUVs Minivans Cargo vans Box trucks Straight trucks Why Partner with SGI Logistics? Set your own schedule — pick up part-time or full-time work, weekdays only Weekly pay via direct deposit or live check, plus online portal access to view current and past settlements Pay is negotiated per job before you start, based on vehicle type, mileage, timing, package weight, and piece count — you can accept, counter, or decline every offer Drivers typically earn $800-$1,800/week What You'll Deliver Lab specimens, medications, medical equipment, medical reports, legal documents, accounting documents, automotive parts, and catering — mostly within Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, with occasional runs beyond that area. Requirements Reliable vehicle with no major body damage Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be 21 years or older Able to pass a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle report Smartphone Great Fit If You Like driving, enjoy interacting with people, follow directions well, and want flexible, well-paying part-time or full-time work.
