Applicants must live in the Birmingham metro area and be able to report reliably to the Homewood warehouse. Job Summary We are seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused Small Parcel Delivery Drivers to pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers throughout assigned local routes. Drivers should be dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to follow delivery-app procedures and proof-of-delivery requirements.

Pay Monday-Friday:

$1.20 per successfully completed package

Saturday-Sunday:

$1.35 per successfully completed package Daily package volume may vary. Drivers should be prepared to complete approximately 80 or more packages per route , depending on daily volume and assignment. Schedule Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Drivers must be available to work at least one weekend day , unless an exception is approved in advance. Warehouse operations run seven days per week. Exact schedules and start days will be provided during onboarding. Responsibilities Pick up, transport, and deliver small parcels according to assigned routes and schedules. Load and unload packages safely and securely. Use the required delivery app for routing, scanning, tracking, and proof of delivery. Complete required delivery photos and documentation accurately. Follow GPS and route-planning instructions to complete deliveries efficiently. Return undelivered packages according to required procedures. Communicate promptly regarding delivery issues, delays, route concerns, or package problems. Maintain accurate package accountability from pickup through delivery or return. Provide professional and courteous customer service. Follow all traffic laws, safety requirements, and delivery procedures. Qualifications Must live in the Birmingham metro area . Must be able to report reliably to the Homewood warehouse . Valid driver's license. Current automobile insurance. Reliable personal vehicle. Smartphone with reliable data service. Clean and responsible driving habits. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines. Previous delivery, courier, parcel, or driving experience is preferred but not required. Must be dependable and able to report for scheduled routes consistently. Physical Requirements Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and climbing stairs. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to sit and drive for extended periods. Ability to safely handle packages throughout the route. Vehicle Requirements Reliable personal vehicles may be used, including appropriate cars, SUVs, minivans, and other approved vehicles based on route needs. Independent Contractor Opportunity This is an independent contractor position . Drivers are responsible for their own fuel, vehicle maintenance, insurance, taxes, and other operating expenses. Referral Bonus Active Stitch Trucks drivers may qualify for a $100 referral bonus when a referred driver successfully completes 60 days and remains active, reliable, and in good standing.
