This role ensures accurate transactions, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and delivers excellent customer service while supporting environmental sustainability efforts.. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales, negotiation, and customer service expertise within a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and efficiency. Duties Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner Receive, sort, and inspect recyclable materials (aluminum, plastic, glass, cardboard, etc.) Weigh materials using certified scales and calculate payouts accurately Process payments and issue receipts according to company procedures Ensure compliance with state and local recycling regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the collection area Identify and remove contaminated or non-recyclable materials Operate equipment such as balers, compactors, forklifts, and pallet jacks (if certified) Monitor storage containers and report when pickups are needed Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment Complete daily logs and transaction records accuratel Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in recycling, warehouse, labor, or customer service preferred Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Join us as an RC - Collecting Agent and become a vital part of our team dedicated to excellence in customer engagement, effective negotiation, and outstanding service delivery!
