Job Description
The Division of Student Affairs on the Sacramento State campus is seeking to hire one Student Assistant to support Project Rebound's Restorative Justice Juvenile Diversion Program (RJJDP). The Student Assistant will serve as a Credible Messenger Mentor (CMM), providi ng individualized, co mmunity-based mentoring and support to youth participating in the Program. The CMM will serve as a consistent, trusted presence who works alongside youth as they navigate the restorative justice process and address the circumstances, relationships, and goals that will support their successful participation in diversion and continued success in the community. Conditions of Employment This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited, student position. Employment in all positions with University Enterprises, Inc. is dependent upon the mutual consent of University Enterprises, Inc. and the employee. This means that either University Enterprises, Inc. or the employee can, at any time, terminate the employment relationship at will, with or without cause. Prerequisites Must be a college student attending classes during the regular term (Fall, Spring and Winter, if applicable), at one of the accredited colleges or universities on our affiliation list.
