I. TITLE
Warehouse Courier
II. QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma preferred. Physically capable of performing assigned tasks. Able to work with staff, students and the public. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and transporting packages up to 200 pounds with the use of a hand truck. Must be able to climb stairs with heavy packages. Experience operating a forklift is preferred; however, being willing and able to be trained and certified as an operator is also acceptable. Valid Idaho Driver's License with a clean driver record. Previous experience preferred, but not mandatory. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

IV. JOB GOALS
To support the delivery of School District 91's written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement. To safeguard the district's investment in materials through efficient and effective warehousing practices.
V. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers mail and internal materials throughout the district promptly and accurately. Loads and delivers supplies from the warehouse to all locations in the district. Assists the Warehouse Supervisor with the stocking of all items. Picks up orders from some of the local vendors. Performs warehouse duties as time permits, such as checking in supplies and general upkeep of the warehouse. Performs snow removal as required. Performs general custodial services for the warehouse. Is responsible for the cleanliness and regular maintenance record of the delivery van. Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
VI. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes required paperwork Assists other Maintenance Department during the summer and when operational needs require and when the work is within the employee's training, qualifications, and authorized scope of work. Performs all other duties as assigned.
VII. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This position is scheduled for 8 hours per day, 254 days per year. Monday through Friday is considered to be the normal workweek. Emergency conditions may arise that will require attention at any hour of the day or night. Benefits will be in accordance with approved Board policy. Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 9 $21.32 or $22.44 (with a bachelors degree or 5 years relevant experience) per hour. This is an "at will" position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time, or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The "employment at will" policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of District 91.
VIII. EVALUATION
Performance of this position will be evaluated annually by the Warehouse Supervisor in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on the evaluation of classified personnel. This position has been given an overall physical classification of heavy duty. 1 � 33% 34 � 66% 67-100% Heavy >50 pounds
