The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. As a Courier Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the packages entrusted to you. Duties Operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver packages to designated locations. Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the route. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including sorting packages and preparing them for delivery. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is preferred. Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in commercial driving is highly desirable. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Experience working in a warehouse environment is a plus but not required.
