We specialize in delivering packages across the Front Range, from Pueblo and Canon City all the way to Fort Collins and Greeley, providing timely and reliable service to our valued clients. This on-call position offers flexibility, allowing you to work when needed, making it ideal for those seeking part-time opportunities or supplemental income. As an on-call courier, you will be used as a fill-in driver to cover routes when our regular drivers are out. This role is a great opportunity for semi-retired workers or gig economy drivers, such as those with Uber or Lyft, looking to diversify their work. Hours will vary each week depending on our schedule needs and your availability. Some weeks, there will be no hours offered; others will offer up to 40 hours. You'll use a company vehicle for your deliveries, allowing you to focus on providing excellent service without the need to use your own car. This position pays $19.50 per hour, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to run established routes (small vehicles; no big trucks) Pick up and deliver various small parcels Document work in our app, including thorough notes and pictures for proof of delivery Manage your routes efficiently Ensure exceptional customer service Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Keep company vehicles clean and treat them well to ensure longevity of the vehicle. Skills Ability to operate a vehicle safely. Experience in heavy lifting and moving items safely and efficiently (must be able to lift 50 lbs). Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is desirable but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
