Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Medical Courier, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the timely and secure transportation of medical specimens. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to healthcare delivery by navigating to local Columbus clients and efficiently delivery them to a FedEx , while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. As a Medical Courier, you will be the crucial link connecting medical facilities, laboratories, pharmacies, and patients with the support of daily pick-up and drop-off routines. This is a M-F position. Desirable for someone local to Columbus.

USING YOUR OWN VEHICLE

; pick up clinic specimens/ samples/ lab work. There 4 clinics total. As call-in orders go; one, all or no clinics may need a pickup daily. The role of the driver is to be available to service the clinics between 17:00(5) and 18:30(6:30), M-F. All collected samples will need to be packaged and delivered for shipping at a predetermined FedEx store. A pickup is worth $15/day with eachadditional worth $5. Pay is weekly after 2nd week worked. Driver must be able to sustain for the first 2 weeks of employment. Higher rates, more pickup locations and additional routes may be available soon. Duties Safely operate your personal vehicle to deliver medical specimens across a designated route. Plan efficient delivery route to meet scheduled pick-up and drop-off times while optimizing fuel and time resources. Maintain accurate delivery documentation through your manifest. Report any discrepancies or delays promptly to dispatch Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during pickup. Skills Proven experience in route operations, driving, or courier services with a focus on timely deliveries. Familiarity with driving; valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience with route driving Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations.
