SUBMITAt Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, we are focused on delivering quality patient care. Our Urology Department is currently seeking an on-call Medical Courier to serve as a professional representative of the organization. This position requires the use of the employee's personal vehicle and involves frequent local travel.

Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Pick up medications and other medical items from designated locations for delivery.

Deliver medications promptly and within assigned and designated timeframes to patients. Maintaining prescription sheets for pharmacy and compliance training. Ensure the integrity and proper handling of medications during transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Safely driving personal vehicle in all types of weather and road conditions.

Efficiently plan routes and exhibit proper driving etiquette.

Successfully maintaining accurate mileage logs.

Strictly follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Reliable personal vehicle.

Valid auto insurance.

Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Previous experience is a plus.

Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.

Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.

Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
