Responsibilities Safely operate pick up trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver packages along designated routes Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing recipient inquiries professionally Handle mail and packages with care, ensuring accurate sorting and distribution Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with route driving expertise preferred but not required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience operating pick up trucks or similar commercial vehicles Ability to lift heavy items safely(generally 20-25 pounds or less) and efficiently during load & unload activities Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, lifting, and warehouse operations Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to delivery schedules This role is vital for maintaining smooth logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries.
