Government & Medical Courier Driver JAY Logistics LLC — DMV Area JAY Logistics LLC is seeking qualified, dependable, and professional courier drivers to support government, military, medical, and time-sensitive delivery operations throughout the DMV area (Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia). This position is ideal for experienced professional drivers who understand the importance of security, confidentiality, chain of custody, accurate documentation, and on-time delivery.
IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS ABILITY TO ACCESS MILITARY BASES AND GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS IS REQUIRED!
No Exceptions! Candidates must be able to successfully meet the access, identification, background screening, and security requirements applicable to the facilities and routes they are assigned.
MEDICAL COURIER, GOVERNMENT, MILITARY, OR TIME-SENSITIVE DELIVERY EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED.
Candidates with applicable HIPAA, BLS, OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogen, Medical Specimen Handling, HAZMAT Transportation, Dry Ice, or other medical courier certifications/training are strongly encouraged to apply.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely transport and deliver medical supplies, specimens, packages, documents, and other time-sensitive materials. Perform scheduled and on-demand deliveries to government facilities, military installations, medical facilities, laboratories, and other designated locations. Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation throughout the transportation process. Follow all customer, facility, security, and delivery procedures. Complete required proof-of-delivery documentation accurately and on time. Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, access issues, and exceptions. Maintain professional conduct when entering military installations, government buildings, hospitals, laboratories, and other secure facilities. Protect confidential information and follow applicable privacy and security procedures. Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, safe, and reliable vehicle. Follow all applicable transportation, safety, security, and company procedures. Immediately report accidents, damaged packages, temperature excursions, spills, missing shipments, or other incidents to dispatch. Maintain required driver, vehicle, insurance, and training documentation.

Depending on the assignment, JAY Logistics may utilize: Cargo Vans Sprinter Vans Other approved commercial vehicles Vehicles must be safe, clean, reliable, properly registered, and properly insured and must meet the requirements of the specific contract or customer.
