Location:
Ann Arbor, MI Duration:
3 month contract Pay rate range: $20/hour
Schedule:
Monday -- Friday 7:30am - 4pm Job duties for this position include: Receive, sort, document, monitor and deliver lab supplies, packages, samples, and mail Support dock operations, vendor escorts, scheduled deliveries, and rush requests Pick up, wash, sterilize, inspect, and return laboratory glassware and equipment Maintain clean and organized work areas, docks, storage spaces, and service areas Assist with hazardous waste container collection and related documentation Manage gas cylinders, garments, and related inventory needs Perform routine eyewash and safety shower inspections Maintain accurate logs, records, service metrics, and reports Follow all safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and University guidelines. Proactively connect with the lead team to address customer concerns within established resolution timeframes Engage in process improvement activities Be involved with safety programs such as hazard identification, inspections and incident reporting/investigation as required May perform other responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience 1 year of related experience within a laboratory setting or customer service is preferred Able to read, write, and speak English fluently Strong verbal and written communication skills, and desire to deliver excellent customer service. This includes maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in all interactions and upholding the company's value Possesses a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to collaborate with various levels of personnel at the customer site. Possesses operating skills to use handheld scanners to enter data in various systems as needed; as well as analytical skills to reconcile reports. Demonstrates the ability to understand the complexity of various work environments and work safely following all policies and procedures. Demonstrates computer proficiency and possesses intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software Uses organizational skills to multi-task and meet due dates as needed Why work for Adecco?

Pay Details:
