Job Description
About the Role Balm of Gilead Logistics is hiring reliable independent contractor drivers to run daily small parcel delivery routes using their own cargo van. This is a consistent Monday-Friday route — no weekends. Responsibilities Load, transport, and deliver packages safely and on time along an assigned daily route Scan packages and confirm deliveries using a mobile app/handheld device Inspect vehicle before each shift and report any maintenance issues Maintain a professional, courteous manner with customers Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices Communicate promptly with dispatch on delays, issues, or undeliverable packages Requirements Own or lease a cargo van (specify year/size requirement, e.g., 2012 or newer) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be 21+ years old Pass a background check Valid vehicle insurance and registration Smartphone for navigation and delivery app Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Contractor Terms 1099 independent contractor — responsible for own taxes, fuel, and vehicle maintenance Daily pay: $200-$350 depending on stop count/route Must carry valid commercial auto insurance (or provide proof of adequate coverage)
