Job Description

C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time Mail Room Associate in Jefferson City. Salary/hours for
Mail Room Associate:
$16.50.; Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Open all incoming claims, adjustments, prior authorizations and attachments Prepare claims for processing by digital scanner Unfold paper claims, remove staples, repair torn pages and cover previous control numbers Screen each document for required information; sort each page according to document type Return documents that do not meet screening requirements to the provider; explain the issue and provide instructions for successful re-submission by the provider Operate high-speed scanning equipment Ensure all documents are scanned and assigned the correct control number Pick up paper claims and mail from the post office daily Deliver all correspondence, tapes, reports, etc. to the correct location every day and pick up and deliver returning correspondence Follow departmental processes and procedures Contribute to a high-performing, motivated work group by applying interpersonal communication and collaboration skills to achieve project goals Work with peers and team leaders to ensure assignment deadlines are communicated and being met High school diploma or equivalent. Good organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail Ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to learn and retain procedural processes and apply them quickly and accurately Good problem resolution skills Ability to lift packages/mail trays weighing a minimum of 20 pounds Valid Missouri Driver's license Apply online and/or at 1731 Southridge Drive, Jefferson City. 110994 #BB #BB
