Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and motivated individuals for a 2-week temporary delivery driver assignment . This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy driving, working independently, and are available for extended workdays as needed. Position Overview This role involves delivering packages for a courier service throughout nearby towns. Drivers can expect significant time on the road, with routes ranging from 400 to 500 miles per day . Some days may require extended hours to ensure all deliveries are completed. Key Responsibilities Deliver packages safely and efficiently for a courier service Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules Load, transport, and deliver packages accurately and on time Maintain communication regarding delivery progress and route completion Manage long driving distances and complete assigned routes each day Requirements Valid driver's license with NO DUI's Current auto insurance Reliable SUV, crossover, van, or larger vehicle required Ability to drive 400-500 miles per day Comfortable working potentially long days and varying route lengths Preferred Qualifications Previous delivery, courier, rideshare, or driving experience Knowledge of local and regional roadways Strong customer service and communication skills
