Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading drywall materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts. Safely load drywall onto delivery vehicles, ensuring secure placement to prevent damage during transit. Deliver drywall products to commercial and residential locations, adhering strictly to route schedules and traffic regulations. Support the driver in navigating routes efficiently while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude towards customers. Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky drywall sheets, minimizing risk of injury. Help with warehouse operations by organizing materials, preparing deliveries, and maintaining a clean work environment. Communicate effectively using mobile devices for route updates or delivery confirmations, ensuring accurate documentation of each delivery. Skills Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks or van drivers, is preferred. Strong manual handling skills with knowledge of safe lifting practices for heavy materials. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and moving carts safely. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or delivery driving is a plus. Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and adherence to traffic laws during route driving. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
