Job Description

Job Summary Election Support Positions are available in North Las Vegas, NV for temporary election operations assignments supporting critical ballot processing, logistics, transportation, and office-based election duties. These contract roles are ideal for dependable candidates who can commit fully to a changing election schedule and work in a structured, team-oriented, non-partisan environment. This opportunity offers hands-on experience supporting an important public process while working with trained supervisors, organized procedures, and collaborative teams. Candidates should be flexible, detail-oriented, reliable, and prepared for a fast-paced environment where duties and schedules may change based on election needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Support election logistics, ballot handling, and materials transport as assigned by election supervisors.
  • Perform duties in roles such as Ballot Inspector, Duplicator, Imprinter, Opex Operator, Driver, or Adjudicator based on business needs.
  • Review ballots using election software, follow established procedures, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Lift and move election materials up to 50 lbs. with available carts and support resources.
  • Follow all non-partisan conduct expectations, confidentiality requirements, and supervisor instructions.
  • Check in with the election supervisor before leaving work each day and remain flexible as schedules and duties change. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay rate: $18.00 per hour for all positions.
  • Job type: Temporary contract assignment.
  • Location:
    North Las Vegas, NV.
  • Training:
    Wednesday, October 14, start time to be determined, approximately 3 hours or more.
  • Assignment start: Monday, October 19 through November, schedule to be determined.
  • Work schedules may range from 3 hours per day to 15 hours or more as the election date gets closer.
  • Weekend work is mandatory when needed.
  • Start times may be as early as 6:00 a.m. or earlier as election needs increase.
  • Candidates may receive 3 hours of show-up time if sent home early due to slow business volume.
  • All schedules and job duties are subject to change based on client needs.
