Join our dynamic team as a Medical Courier, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and secure transportation of medical supplies, specimens, and equipment. This energetic position requires a proactive approach to route driving, manual handling, and customer service, all while adhering to strict safety and traffic regulations. As a key connector between healthcare facilities and laboratories, your dedication helps facilitate critical medical processes that impact patient care. Duties Safely operarate personal vehicles for scheduled deliveries and pickups of medical items. Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment ensuring safe lifting practices. Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations to ensure timely deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain and cleanliness. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with healthcare staff, lab personnel, and clients during delivery or pickup. Utilize mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmations, and communication with dispatch teams. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements in compliance with company policies. Qualifications Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred. Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially within healthcare or similar sectors. Valid driver's license and vehicle auto or cargo insurance with a clean driving record Ability to lift heavy loads safely while following proper lifting practices. Strong understanding of traffic regulations, DOT compliance, and weight handling in the workplace. Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities. Comfortable using mobile devices for route management and documentation purposes.
